If you’re using the Google Search Web integration and want to refine your search without checking the search operators, again and again, I’ve got just the thing for you!
I’ve created a Rows spreadsheet where you can enter the search parameters e.g.
- Exclude terms
- Match terms
- Search for a specific site or domain
- Search for related sites
You can also separately search for Google’s cached version of a site!
Here’s the link to the live app: Refine your Google searches
The idea is that you enter the search terms or parameters even if you don’t know the search expressions provided by Google Search (here’s their help center article about that).
I created input fields, and the output cells contain formulas that use the input and the search expressions. That involved using CONCATENATE a lot!
A little example :
To make sure I use the Google Search Web integration properly, I used the Google Search template kindly provided by the Rows team.
I hope this is useful to you!
